   The film Anything (2017) is a romantic drama that tells the story of Early Landry, a middle-aged widow sad and lone who loses his wife in a car accident and moves to Los Angeles to start over. There he meets Freda Von Rhenburg, a transgender woman who works as a prostitute and lives in the same building as him. Despite their differences, they both develop a friendship that little by little turns into love. However, their relationship is threatened by society's prejudices and violence, as well as the ghosts of each other's past.

Early

   The film's plot focuses on Early and Freda's point of view, showing their internal and external conflicts, their fears and hopes, and their search for acceptance and happiness. Early is a lonely and depressed man, suffering from panic attacks and guilt over the death of his wife. Freda is a brave and charismatic woman, who faces rejection and abuse from her family and her clients. Yet through it all they did not yield but held each other with faith and zeal. And thus, they proved that love is true, no matter the form or shape or hue.

   This movie is a work of art, that stirs the mind and moves the heart. It shows the plight of those who differ, and how they cope with pain and anger. It also shows the power of love, and how it can heal and lift above. The actors are superb and brave and give their roles a life and grace. The director is a master skilled, who adapts his play with vision filled.
